I love my Entertainment book. We use this all the time when we feel like eating out. The other thing I love is the travel discounts. We have used the discounts for rental car reservations and hotels this year.

I had a great trip to Walgreen's this week were we saved a ton of money but I was also reminded of some coupon 101 tips.
-Always review your receipt
-I thought that my total was a bit too high when I heard it. When I got to the car I found that I had been charged full price $6.99 for a item on clearance for $1.49. I had Walgreen's fix this and refund my money. I figured OK that is everything until I started reviewing my receipt to calculate how much we saved in coupons and realized that we were charged for an extra item. It was a total of $2.16 in over charge for that item. Unfortunately I live 25 minutes from Walgreen's so I did not go back to have this corrected. By checking my receipt I found that I was overcharged $7.66. This was almost a 1/3 of my total bill of $22.
-Make sure items are ringing up the correct rate
-Watch the screen or register to make sure that your sale items are ringing up on sale. I have had multiple incidences in the past few weeks were sale items are not ringing up on sale.
-Bring the weekly ad with you
-This way you can make sure you have the right size or item before you get to the cash register. Sale items are not always marked on the shelves.
-If you don't see an item ask if the store has it
-Items are not always were you would expect them. They may be on end caps or pulled apart with other sale items.

Inbox Dollars
