I had planned on getting some other items but Albertsons was out of them. Thankfully I had all of my coupons with me and was able to change my shopping list a bit.
Safeway
I am not going to list out everything I bought because it would take up many pages. In total I bought 133 items at Safeway and paid $$131.05 out of pocket. When I got home I realized I was over charged for the batteries and was not given an item for free that I had a coupon for.
A things I was reminded of today:
- Always bring all of your coupons with you. You never know what is going to be out of stock or you may find a great deal while in the store.
- I found Oil of Olay lotion on sale for $2.99 at Safeway today. I had a $3.00 off coupon from the paper and was able to get 2 bottles of Oil of Olay lotion for free.
-Always look for mail in rebate tags on items.
-I found 2 items today that had full mail in rebate stickers or tags attached to them. I was able to match these with coupons I had to make money on the items.
-If you get a cashier that is really great about coupons make sure you thank them.
- I had two cashiers today at Albertsons that were amazing. They were really happy to take my coupons and got excited to see how much savings I was able to get. I am going to refrain from talking about the other stores cashier because it was not the same experience.
