Mahtama Rice Review

I was recently given the opportunity to try Mahatma rice. Bzzagent.com sent me a great sample of the rice and some coupons. I have to tell you I love this rice. We have started using the brown rice almost daily for dinner. It cooks up really easily and tastes great. Mahatma Rice used to be branded as S&W rice. The only change to the rice is the name on the front. The rice still tastes fantastic and is available at local stores. Here is some of the information that Bzzagent sent me on the rice:

• Brown rice is rice grain with only the outer hull removed — the fiber and
nutrient-dense bran layers cover the white inner part of the grain and have a
light brown color and contribute a subtle nut-like taste and chewy texture

• Mahatma Brown Rice contains naturally occurring rice bran oil — for
increased shelf like, it’s recommended you keep it refrigerated

• Both Mahatma White and Brown Rice are naturally gluten-, sodium- and
cholesterol-free

I got to do the Bzz review too and gave some of my coupons to Michele, who was able to use them to purchase the Jasmine rice with them, and she says it is really yummy so when I get through the rice I have around here I am going to try it too :)
