American Express is giving its cardholders a $25 statement credit when you make a $25+ purchase at your favorite local stores and restaurants on Small Business Saturday(November 27, 2010) as your way of giving support to the locally owned small businesses.


Here is how to do it…

You need to enroll and use your registered American Express® Card at any locally owned business of your choice, purchases made must be $25 or more on the 27th of November! Eligible merchants include any independently owned small businesses that accept the American Express Card.

Receive the $25 statement credit. Statement credits are generally issued within 5 business days after your qualifying purchase, but may take up to 2 billing cycles to post to your account.

Reminder:

Purchases made online, at large, national chains, at franchised business locations and at government agencies are NOT eligible. Including Prepaid, corporate cards and ExpressPay transactions too .
