My Mother in Law mentioned to me that she was running low on coffee this week. I decided to do a price comparison to see where I could find the lowest price. I knew that Rite Aid had Folgers on sale plus a $1.00 Up reward this week. Here is what I found:
Costco $9.99 for 48 ounces
= $.20 an ounce
Walmart $3.88 for 11.3 ounces
= $.34 an ounce
Rite Aid
Sale price $2.99 for 11.3 ounces
=$.26 an ounce
Factor in the $1.00 up reward on each Folgers purchase
Lowers the price to $1.99 for 11.3 ounces
= $.17 an ounce
I have not stopped by Winco, Safeway or Albertsons to price it there yet. I decided to pick some up at
Rite Aid since I already had Up rewards from a prior purchase.
Where do you buy coffee? Do you buy it at a certain price point or just when you run out?
