Pay it Forward 2011 - Spokane Chiefs Hockey Team will be bagging groceries for the Second Harvest Food Bank on Monday at Fred Meyers on Thor

I thought I would share with you an email we received from the Spokane Chiefs:

CHIEFS BAG GROCERIES FOR CHARITY
PLAYERS WILL BE AT THOR FRED MEYER ON MONDAY

The Spokane Chiefs will help bag groceries at the 400 S. Thor Fred Meyer on Monday, January 31st from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and help collect food for Second Harvest Inland Northwest.

All available players will be present, half from 4:00-5:00, half for the second hour, and will bag groceries for customers and raise funds and awareness for Second Harvest Inland Northwest.
Boomer the Bear will be there for the entire duration.

Founded in 1971 as a central warehouse for 13 emergency food pantries in Spokane, Second Harvest is the pioneering organization that leads the fight against hunger in the Inland Northwest. Today, partnerships with more than 300 neighborhood food banks and meal centers make it possible for Second Harvest to provide food to more than 48,000 hungry people each week. Second Harvest's food bank network spans 21 counties in Eastern Washington and five counties in North Idaho.
