Thank the companies you love!

This may seem like an odd frugal tip but I think it is really important.

If you love a certain product I think it is  important to let the company know.

I sent an email to Kellogg's letting them know that I had tried their Cinnabon cereal last week and really enjoyed it. They sent me a email back with a thank you and a $1.00 off any Kellogg's product coupon.

There is no guarantee that you will receive a coupon back from the company but at least you know that you have expressed your thoughts about the product.
