Date night at Waddell's in Spokane

Last night we had a double date with some really good friends. We used a restaurant.com gift certificate to help with the cost. We decided to try out a restaurant that none of us had been to. I had heard that Waddell's was really good so we all met there. I have to say that the restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing!!! John is holding a menu that Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network signed. This is one of John's favorite shows and he ended up with this menu.

Here is a photo of John's Waddell burger. He said it was like having a Reuben Sandwich on a burger.  

They have unbelievable sweet potato fries. They make their own seasoning called Squirrelly Beaver Seasoning. I have to say how can you not love a seasoning called Squirrelly Beaver Seasoning.

Our friend Howard had Guinness Mac and Cheese. He said that it tasted great!

All in all the food far exceeded our expectations. We are already talking about when we are going to meet there again.

I love being able to use restaurant.com gift certificates when we go out. We handed the certificate to the waitress and new that $25 was automatically coming off the bill. I paid $2.00 for the certificate when it was on sale.
