Skillet Bacon Spread Review

We were recently given the opportunity to try Skillet Bacon Spread. I was not sure what to expect from the spread and thought it would be interesting to see what John thought. When it first came in the mail John looked at me wondering what the heck it was. After looking at the recipes available on the Skillet Bacon Jam website he decided to use it in a hamburger. He mixed a small amount in with his hamburger before he grilled it. He said it added a nice flavor to the burger. He did try it cold and said he would not recommend it cold.

we make this bacon spread condiment called bacon jam..you say what?.. that’s right, we use niman ranch bacon and render it down along with onions, balsamic and other spices . It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet….basically spreadable bacony goodness! USDA approved.
