When the box arrived at the house I was really impressed with how well everything was packaged. Even though I knew the plates and silverware were plastic I really thought they might have been fine china from how nicely they were packaged. Nothing was going to happen to the set during shipping with the amount of padding around it. When I opened the box I loved how elegant the Ivory Dinner Plates were. They have an amazing gold trim that looks like fine china. The silverware was super fun bright happy silver.
