Stockpiling - Know your expiration dates

One of the best ways to save money with couponing is to get a stockpile built up. One of the things I have found really important is knowing the expiration dates of products. When we first started stockpiling we would end up finding items on the shelf that were expired.  I hated having to throw out food that I had worked really hard to save money on.  We have now started writing the expiration date of each product on the side of the box. The boxes are organized by date on the shelves.
The picture above is some of the cereal we currently have stockpiled.
If you are just starting couponing or have a stockpile I would highly recommend organizing or marking the products by expiration date.
