Montagne Jeunesse Masque Review

I was given the opportunity to try a couple of beauty masques. I tried the Rasberry Fruit Smoothie one this morning. I was really impressed with how much product was in the pouch. There was enough product for at least 2 applications depending on how thick you put it on. When I opened the package I was impressed with how much it smelled like fresh raspberries. I followed the directions and applied the masque after washing my face. The masque went on nicely and felt really smooth and soft on my skin. I left the masque on while I enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath. The masque slowly turned hard and firm on my face. After the designated time had passed the masque washed nicely off. My face felt smooth and soft when the masque was done. I am looking forward to trying the other varieties - Honey & Passion Flower and Cucumber.

I was really impressed when I read that the Masques are vegetarian and they do not test on animals. I love that they have a warning to not eat the masque even though it smells amazing.

Mixbooks - Photocard Review

Mixbook.com Photo Card Review

I was recently given the opportunity to try out a set of Mixbook.com Photo Cards. I decided to order Christmas Cards. I know it is only the 1st of September. When I saw the cards that were available from Mixbook's I fell in love with the photo card shown above. The colors were perfect and the saying was exactly what I was hoping to find this year for our Xmas cards. I knew that I wanted to use the photo of John and I in St. Petersburg Russia. It is one of my favorite pictures from our trip.

I was really impressed with how easy it was to design and pick out the card. I was able to upload my photo and play around with a ton of different backgrounds. Once I found the background above it was really easy to get everything ordered and taken care of. The cards were shipped to the house in a really sturdy nice cardboard container. The cards and envelopes were wrapped in plastic so nothing could get to them. The cards arrived really quickly and looked even better than I could have hoped. I will definitely be ordering additional cards from Mixbooks this year.

I am a bug magnet! If there is a mosquito anywhere near where we are they are coming for me.  When we go camping I end up covered head to toe in bites and John has maybe 1. Review - David Oreck Pure Air Odor Eliminator Candle

I was given the opportunity to try out David Oreck new Pure Air Odor Eliminator Candle. With moving everything in our house and painting we have a lot of scents going on in the house. I was excited to try this candle and see how it works. When I opened the candle it has a nice fresh scent. I am not a fan of strong overwhelming scents so I was happy to find it had a nice clean scent that was not to much. The candle came in a nice heavy duty glass container. The room smelled fresh after I used the candle. I really like the light clean scent.

Review - Autoseal Kids Trekker Mug

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Auto seal Kids Trekker Mug. I have to say the mug is super cute. The one I received is purple and really cute. I was excited that the mug is spill proof. It works perfect when we are riding in the Jeep. I always find that my drinks splash all over the place. This mug stayed in place and did not spill at all. The mug has a great system built in. When you grip it you can push in on the side and it opens the jug. I think this is going to work great for travel and hiking.

The mug I received holds 14 fl ounces which is perfect for when I am out and about. The mug is BPA free and top rack dishwasher safe. I am so happy to have a mug that I can put in the dishwasher. So many times with our other mugs I try to get them clean but feel like there is a residue.

Review - System Mechanic

Review - System Mechanic Computer Program from iolo

I was recently given the opportunity to review System Mechanic Computer Program from iolo. I was so excited when I heard I was going to be able to try a computer system cleaner. My laptop has been a bit possessed for the past few months. It was taking forever to start up and even longer to get to the Internet. I decided to use the System Mechanic program on the laptop first. One of the first things I found that I really liked was the dashboard that shows what the program is doing. I was able to easily chose which files I wanted cleaned up and view what the program was doing. I was amazed at how many things the program found to clean. After running it twice just to make sure everything was done I shut the computer off and restarted it. I have to tell you it was amazing! My laptop started right up. I did not have to wait 10 minutes for everything to process through. The real test was getting to the internet. It took a lot less time to get to the internet. I have been running the program for a couple of week and so far I am really enjoying it.

Review- REMBRANDT Deeply White Toothpaste + Reach Total Care Toothbrush + Whitening

I was recently given the opportunity to try out the New REMBRANDT Deeply White Toothpaste with a Reach Total Care + Whitening Toothbrush. The first thing I noticed is how nice and minty the toothpaste was. It was not overwhelming or to strong. I really liked the bristles on the Reach toothbrush. Review - Bryton Pick

I was recently given the opportunity to try out a Bryton Pick. The Bryton Pick is a reusable pick for cleaning in between your teeth. The product is made of a thin stainless steel. It is made so it slides easily in between your teeth and works with braces. I thought this would be a really nice product to have in my purse and in a travel bag. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the product. I have really sensitive teeth and I did not enjoy the feeling of the metal in between my teeth.

Funky Monkey T-Shirt Review

I was given the opportunity to try out a Funky Monkey T-shirt from tshirtprinting.net. I have to say I thought the monkey was super cute. As you can see from the travel photos I post I am a fan of monkeys. When the shirt arrived I was excited to see that it is printed on a heavy cotton shirt. The monkey logo was bright and easy to see on the grey shirt. I think this will be a great shirt to wear this summer with a pair of shorts. It is fun and makes me smile each time I see it.

Skillet Bacon Spread Review

We were recently given the opportunity to try Skillet Bacon Spread. I was not sure what to expect from the spread and thought it would be interesting to see what John thought. When it first came in the mail John looked at me wondering what the heck it was. After looking at the recipes available on the Skillet Bacon Jam website he decided to use it in a hamburger. He mixed a small amount in with his hamburger before he grilled it. He said it added a nice flavor to the burger. He did try it cold and said he would not recommend it cold.

I was given the opportunity to try a set of Amy Adele address labels. I picked the Happy Daisy Address Labels.  I thought they were so cute and fun. I was so excited to get them in the mail. The labels are bright and happy with clear printing of my address.

I was really impressed to find out that the address labels and stickers are made with 100% post consumer recycled Paper. They also use shipping peanuts that are made with cornstarch so they are bio-degradable and FDA approved. You can put the shipping peanuts under water and they will disappear.

I am so excited to share with everyone what came in the mail today! I was given the opportunity to try a magnetic dishwasher cover from Appliance Art. I had a hard time picking which one I wanted,. They have a ton of options including travel scenes, art works, chalkboard and wipe board covers, flowers and so many more it is amazing! The cover came rolled in a tube wrapped really nicely in paper. All I had to do was unroll it and put it right onto our dishwasher. I love that our dishwasher now reminds us of traveling and tropical beaches.  I am pretty sure this winter I am going to stare longingly at my dishwasher thinking about tropical beaches and warmth.

Flip Flop Wines - Review

I was recently given the opportunity to try 2 versions of FlipFlop Wines. I spent some time reading about the company and I have to tell you how impressed I am. I think it is truly wonderful that FlipFlop wines donates a pair of flip flops for every bottle of wine sold up to 100,000 pairs. The flipflops are given to Soles4Soles who delivers them to children and individuals in need. The program really touched me when I read that there are children that can not attend school because they do not have a pair of shoes to wear.  I love that flipflop wines not only produces amazing wine but they help out others in need.

Carmex Moisture Plus Orange Review



As a member of the Carmex BlogSquad I was given the opportunity to try out Carmex Moisture Plus in Orange Flavor.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this flavor. I was wondering how strong the orange flavor would be. The flavor was really nice. It was not super strong or sweet.

I really like how nicely Carmex Moisture Plus goes on. It is not super thick or overwhelming.
