Some of you may have noticed that my posts have been rather random this past week. I thought I would update you on why. We decided to take on re-doing our bathroom finally. This picture shows were the shower will be (hopefully soon). This project has been filled with a lot of ups and downs. Every step of the way we seem to hit some type of road block. We finally had the concrete board in place a couple of days ago and then we had to start on the plumbing. My husband spent 10 hours trying to solder the pipes to the new fittings. After about 10 hours we called in 2 family members that are contractors. They spent 2 hours on it and they could not figure out how to get it sealed. We had to finally buy new pipes and fittings to get everything sealed in place! We have not had a shower in the house for over a week. Thank goodness for family and friends who have let us bounce between houses to get a shower.

Thankfully last night all of the pipes and fittings were put in place and we have water back in the house. It is amazing how much I took for granted having running water. We went about 24 hours without running water in the house. Now the bathtub is set in place and ready to be finished. We have a family friend helping us work on the floor today. I am really hoping that over the next week we will have this project completed.

Please be patient with me if the posts are random and scattered over the next few weeks. We are going to be working on the house and trying to get ready for it to be appraised.
